Welcome to the Medfield Sharks Swim Team. The 2021 summer swim season marks our 46th year! As a team, we strive to instill in kids a love for competitive swimming in a fun and enriching atmosphere. Our coaching staff and parent volunteers are key in bringing this vision to life.
Our team consists of 95+ swimmers, ages 4 to 18 years old. We are located in a quiet neighborhood near the PCN arena between Raleigh and Cary . The Medfield Sharks have one 6 lane 25 yard pool that we use for training and racing.
The Sharks Swim Team is a member of the non-profit Tarheel Swimming Association – a group of 86 swim teams and over 10,000 swimmers. The swim season is approximately 10 weeks long, practices beginning in May and culminating with our Divisional and Championship Meets in July. We have our Time Trial Meet, followed by 6 dual meets either home or away. The Sharks season finishes with an annual awards banquet to celebrate all of the fun and success we had!
